About Us

The Tamil word ‘THAAI’ means ‘MOTHER’. It is our greatest ambition to impart the best education to our students with same love and affection of a mother, the first teacher in our lives. We love, live, preach and guide our students, as a loving mother does for her child.

At our institutions, we believe that Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself. Therefore our teachers strive to make our students to be lifelong learners , to develop integrity and self respect. We encourage them to persevere, be creative and have enough moral courage to stand up and speak for what he or she wants and believes

We are here to nurture thinkers and doers who follows their passions and make them responsible citizens who care and are able to use about the world around them. Since formal education is just a beginning of learning, our belief is that the ultimate goal of education is to make our students become continuous, lifelong learners.

W. B. Yeats said ‘Education is not the filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire.” We invite to you to explore and hope you join us to spark the light of learning in your child.

Children are the priority...

Change is the reality...

Collaboration is the strategy...

It is a matter of pride to pen down the message for "TENDER LEAVES" the annual school Magazine of THAAI School. Academic excellence along with Co-curricular and extra co-curricular activities completes the process of education. And it gives me great satisfaction that the school is progressing in all its endeavors towards the overall development and personality of the students.

It is true that every parent is the first leader and teacher where a child learns from. Ability may getyou to the top but character only may keep you there. I If thank our staff team which consistently work together to mould the character ofyoung people on moral and spiritual values and develop a balanced, all rounded and humane personality.

I am very sure through collaborative effort we can achieve more to benefit our students who are the future leaders of tomorrow.

Principal Message

Message From The Principal's Desk

Dear Students, schooling is our first contact with the world, a period of joy, healthy competition, fearing. adjustment. sharing and love. It is not the wide open spaces, classrooms, the library. laboratories or the large fields that make the school. It is in the heart of the students and staff that the true institution exists.

According to academic analysts, the youth of future generation are going to be more prone to violence and deviant behaviour. This deteriorating trend is a matter of great concern to parents as well as teachers. We are all aware through media reports of incidents of abuse, self-inflicted violence, violent outburst, depression, violence using social media and other on-line forms.

Learning is not a process limited to schools and colleges only, nor does it end with the conclusion of one's school career. It is indeed a lifelong process. This school is oriented to the total formation of a child and to adaptations of various methods suiting the dynamics of changing world in order to achieve common goals and objectives.

It is further characterized by shared vision — responsibility and above all, love and faith in God in order to achieve these goals.

Dear students, it is my message toyou all that the people of fine character live by their values. They are honest and are committed to truthfulness in thought. word and deed. True character thus encompasses the capacity for self-discipline.

Character creates self respect, which in turn leads to high self esteem. Maturity is reflected in all aspects of character — the decisions we make, the friends we choose and the responsibilities we accept. Always remember to uphold the dignity of people. Be always ready to give preference to other. What you are is god's gift toyou. Whatyou become isyour gift to God. Bring out the best inyou.

"With warm wishes and God's blessings".
